Terms and Conditions
Allison Cloud Infrastructure (ACI) |
Last updated: 28 October 2026
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the website,
products and services provided under the Allison Cloud
Infrastructure name ("ACI", "we", "us" or "our"). ACI is
described as a division of Allison Global Group (Pty) Ltd
("AGG") for branding purposes. The contracting legal entity
for a particular service must be identified in the relevant
quotation, invoice or service agreement.
By placing an order or using a service, you agree to the
terms applicable to that service. If you do not agree,
you should not place the order or use the affected service.
Additional service-specific terms may apply.
1. Services
ACI may provide web hosting, email hosting, domain-related
services, WordPress hosting, website design and other
technology services. Availability, specifications,
resource limits, support and pricing depend on the plan
or written agreement applicable to your order.
2. Eligibility and account details
You must provide accurate and current information when
ordering or managing a service. You must be legally
capable of entering into the relevant agreement or have
proper authority to act for the organisation concerned.
Keep your contact, account and billing information updated.
3. Orders and activation
An enquiry or quotation does not itself guarantee that
a service has been activated. Orders may be subject to
availability, payment, verification, technical feasibility
and acceptance by the relevant provider. We will communicate
material requirements applicable to an order.
4. Pricing and payment
Prices, billing intervals, included resources, renewal
charges and payment deadlines are stated in the applicable
plan, quotation, order or invoice. You are responsible
for paying amounts properly due by the stated due date.
Applicable taxes and additional charges should be disclosed
before you become bound by them.
5. Late payment and suspension
Where an amount remains unpaid, we may send payment
reminders and, subject to the applicable agreement and
law, suspend affected services after reasonable notice.
Immediate restriction may be necessary to respond to a
serious security risk, unlawful activity or threat to
other customers or systems.
Suspension does not automatically cancel outstanding
amounts properly due. We will consider applicable
consumer protections and any relevant dispute process.
6. Renewals and cancellation
Renewal and cancellation conditions depend on the service
and the agreement accepted at purchase. Customers should
submit cancellation requests through the designated
contact or account channel before the relevant renewal
date, allowing for any disclosed notice period.
Any applicable notice period, early termination fee or
restriction must be assessed against the agreement and
applicable law. Cancelling one service does not necessarily
cancel a separate service or domain registration.
7. Refunds
Refund eligibility depends on the service purchased,
the applicable agreement, work already performed and
the circumstances of the request. Any refund terms
must be applied consistently with applicable South
African law, including mandatory consumer rights where
they apply.
Domain registrations, third-party charges and custom
development may have different refund conditions.
Any relevant restrictions should be disclosed before
purchase where required.
8. Customer responsibilities
You are responsible for:
Providing accurate account and contact details.
Keeping passwords and authentication credentials secure.
Ensuring your use of our services is lawful.
Maintaining independent copies of important data.
Using services within the limits of your chosen plan.
Having the necessary rights to content you upload or publish.
Following the Acceptable Use Policy.
9. Acceptable use
You must not use ACI services for fraud, phishing, malware,
unauthorised access, abusive bulk messaging, infringement
of rights or activity that threatens service security
or stability.
Plans may impose limits on storage, bandwidth, email
accounts, databases, processing or other resources.
You must comply with the limits disclosed for your plan.
If your use materially affects service stability or
exceeds agreed limits, we may contact you to discuss
reasonable corrective action or an alternative plan.
11. Availability and maintenance
We aim to provide reliable services but do not guarantee
uninterrupted availability unless a separate written
service-level agreement expressly provides otherwise.
Maintenance, upstream provider failures, network issues,
security incidents and events outside our reasonable
control may affect availability.
Where reasonably practicable, we will provide notice of
planned maintenance likely to materially affect service.
12. Backups and data
Backup availability, frequency, retention and restoration
support depend on the service plan and any applicable
written agreement. Unless expressly agreed otherwise,
you remain responsible for maintaining independent copies
of critical business data.
Do not assume a backup exists or can be restored unless
the relevant feature and its terms have been confirmed.
13. Domains and third-party services
Domain names and third-party products may be governed by
registry rules, registrar policies, software licences or
other supplier terms. Registration, transfer, renewal
and recovery may depend on third parties. A domain is
not guaranteed available until registration is confirmed.
14. Intellectual property
ACI, AGG and their licensors retain rights in their
respective names, logos, website designs, software and
other materials they own. You retain rights in your
content, subject to the permissions needed to deliver
the service you have ordered.
You authorise us to host, store, transmit, process and
back up your content only to the extent reasonably
necessary to provide and support the relevant service.
15. Confidentiality
Each party should take reasonable steps to protect
confidential information received from the other.
Disclosure may be made where required by law, court
order or a competent authority, or where otherwise
lawfully permitted.
16. Privacy and personal information
We handle personal information in accordance with
applicable data-protection law, including the Protection
of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA), where
applicable. Read our
Privacy Notice
for information about collection, use, disclosure,
retention and your rights.
17. Security incidents
If we become aware of an incident affecting a service,
we may take reasonable steps to investigate, contain
the incident and restore service. Customers should
promptly notify us of suspected account compromise
or security problems involving their services.
18. Suspension or termination for misuse
We may restrict or suspend affected services where
reasonably necessary to address a serious security
incident, suspected unlawful activity, abuse, non-payment
or material breach of the applicable agreement. Where
practicable, we will provide notice and an opportunity
to remedy the issue. Urgent risks may require immediate
action.
19. Warranties
We aim to provide services with reasonable care and skill.
Any additional warranty or service-level commitment must
be stated in the applicable written agreement. Nothing
in these terms excludes a warranty or protection that
cannot lawfully be excluded.
20. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability
where exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.
This includes applicable statutory consumer rights
and liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to that restriction and applicable law, we are
not responsible for indirect or consequential losses
to the extent that such limitation is legally valid.
Any further financial cap or limitation must be stated
in the applicable service agreement and assessed for
enforceability under South African law.
21. Customer content and claims
You are responsible for ensuring that content you
supply or publish through our services does not
unlawfully infringe third-party rights. To the extent
permitted by law, you may be responsible for claims
resulting from your unlawful content or misuse of
the service. This does not transfer liability that
legally remains with us.
22. Events outside reasonable control
A party will not be responsible for a failure to perform
to the extent caused by an event beyond its reasonable
control, where recognised by applicable law. The affected
party should take reasonable steps to reduce the impact
and resume performance when practicable.
23. Changes to services or terms
We may update services or these terms where reasonably
necessary for legal, security, operational or product
reasons. Material changes will be communicated where
required by law or the applicable agreement. Changes
do not remove rights that have already accrued or
rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
24. Complaints and disputes
Please contact us first so that we can investigate
a complaint. This does not prevent you from exercising
a right to approach a regulator, ombud, tribunal or
court with jurisdiction.
25. Applicable law
These terms are intended to be governed by the laws
of the Republic of South Africa, subject to mandatory
legal protections and the jurisdiction of competent
courts.
26. Severability
If a provision is found invalid or unenforceable,
it will be interpreted or severed to the minimum
extent necessary. The remaining provisions continue
to apply to the extent permitted by law.
27. No waiver
A failure or delay in exercising a right does not
automatically waive that right.
28. Agreement and priority
These terms, the applicable service agreement, quotation,
order and relevant policies govern the service. Where
documents conflict, the applicable agreement's priority
rules apply, subject to mandatory law.
29. Contact
For questions about these terms, email
legal@allisonglobalgroup.co.za.

steps taken at your request before entering a contract,
performance of a contract, compliance with a legal
obligation or a legitimate interest permitted by law.
Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw

No internet transmission or storage system can be
guaranteed completely secure. Please protect your

where appropriate.

ACI services, you must comply with applicable
data-protection law. You must use appropriate

action may be necessary to contain a serious
